Kayden's Daddy!

Hi, my name is Amber. Me and my husband Christopher meet two years ago through some friends. Not long after being together we new that we wanted to spend the rest of our life's together. After a year into our relationship we decided to get married. We got married the day before easter, 2004. It was one of the happiest days of my life!!!!!!!! My husband has made a huge difference in my life. When we got married Chris new that I wasn't going to be able to have any children for him, but knowing the fact he loved me enough that we got married anyways. I had went through several surgeriesbefore we had meet and the doctors told me that I would never be able to conceive. It was the most devastating news that I have ever received. After a couple of weeks being married I went to the doctor for having bad indigestion all the time. I thought I had acid reflux, but the doctor insisted that I probably had an ulcer. About a week later I went back to the doctor and found out that the little ulcer I had was our now son, Kayden (6 months). I was in disbelieve and shock. I was absolutely amazed and thrilled to now that I was going to be giving birth to a little boy , who we believed was sent from God.............

When I was six months into my pregnancy Chris got his orders saying that they were going to Iraq. I didn't really think about it at the time, I tried not to. He left for Fort Dix, New Jersey in November of 2004. Things were rough, but at least at that time he was still in the states. Our son was born on January 12th, 2005. I had preclampsa, so Chris got to come home. He missed the birth of Kayden because I had to have an emergency c-section, but not a couple hours later he was by our sides. The red cross really worked a miracle for us and I thank them everyday.

Kayden is six months now and has seen his daddy a total of three weeks since he has been born, but he is now saying dada!!!!!!!! My husband Chris gets to see him on the web cam which is so great. We both miss him and love him very much. I pray along with millions of other people that all our troops come back home safe and thank them for everything they are doing . They are truly brave soldiers............Thanks Christopher We love you very much and miss you bunches.

Praying for all our soldiers safe return,

Amber Camden
