My soldier, my soulmate!

My soldier, my soulmate Douglas Stewart has been in the Army for 14 years and we have been married  8 years of that. This is the 2nd time we have been apart. In 1998 he was in Bosnia for 7 months and that was very difficult being only married less than a year, but we got through the rough time. The only thing more crazy this time is first of all this is war that was not, and 2nd we now have 2 children Savannah (4) and Brady (8 months)  They miss daddy very much and so do I. Savannah doesn't really understand all this. She just knows that daddy is working far, far away, and she tells everyone my daddy will be home in 1 year!!!!!!!!!! For Brady I just show him photos all the time and they both hear his voice on the phone so hopefully that will help them get through this.
I am so very proud of my husband and I know he is doing the right thing fighting for our country but, that sure doesn't make it any easier. I don't know very many people around in the same situation so I could always use another friend.
Thanks for reading my story,
Doug - I love you more & more with every breath I take!!!!!   I miss you!!!
