SPC B.J. Isenhour

Hi, my name is Stephanie. My husband just left for Iraq this past December for his first deployment with the Army. We just had our first child, a boy (Caiden) June 9th. BJ (my husband) and I were married June of '04 and have been going strong ever since! Even through my difficult pregnancy and of course giving birth... being away from him is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Looking into my son's eyes everyday and seeing his father is heartbreaking... knowing BJ will not be here to see Caiden grow up the first year and a half of his life. He will miss all of his "firsts". In the first 2 months he's been gone, Caiden has rolled over, sit up, started holdling his bottle, babbling (saying "da-da"), and playing with toys. I just have to keep in my mind that everyday is a day closer that I will get to see my husband. I miss him so much, it hurts... but I have to be strong for him, for my son. Baby -- stay safe, keep your head down, and know you have so many people at home supporting you and that love you!

I love you baby,

"I love you Daddy!"
