Convenience Store Crush!

This is Sgt. Jason Manning, he is currently serving with the Infantry in Afghanistan. He is a Combat Medic. This is the man I love with all of my heart! He was 4 years ahead of me in High School; I had a crush on him the entire time throughout school, and finally in December of last year he came into the Convenience store I work at and asked me out on a date! We have been dating since, and in April of 2004, he asked me to marry him. We found out in May that he was being shipped out. His time over there is unknown; however I am to expect him home in September of 2005, date subject to change. He comes home for a leave in 2 days and we are getting married during this time. I think about him and I realize how lucky I am to have a man who is willing to risk his life to protect our freedom. I know how hard it is, but seeing what he will learn from all of this makes me smile. Look at all the things he can teach our kids in the future! It makes things a little easier, knowing what he is doing is something that he loves. God Bless all of our troops! Thank you so much for everything that you do and everything you stand for!
