Hi, my name is Karen Abrams.  My husband CPL. Shawn Abrams has been in Iraq since November 2004, he left shortly after we were married.  He should be home in November this year hopefully. It has been a very tough year for both of us but luckily for todays technology we get to speak often.  I have never missed somebody so much ever in my whole life and I think its so hard because I finally found my soulmate and then we were seperated.  I count down the days until his return, everyday missing him more and more.  I have often told him but have not had the chance to share with other people how very proud I am of him and how much I look up to him.  He is my hero...  I also want to send my prayers, love and support to all of the other soldiers and their families for everything they have done and continue to do.  And just a little note for my man....

Baby I love you more than life itself, and you know that if I could be there with you I would be in two seconds.  I am counting the days until you are back safely in my arms again but until then honey...stay safe, stay healthy, and stay strong.  I love you Angel and we'll be together again shortly.
